Family Photos and A Winner

(Well, the winner of the curling wand is "soccermom1." Random.org generated the number 42, and soccermom1 was commenter number 42. So, congratulations! And thanks everyone for participating! Hopefully I can do another giveaway soon!)

Now. Are you ready for this? Mark and Karlie and I took family photos with the fabulous Kelly Stocksen over Easter weekend. And let me tell ya, I have been on pins and needles waiting to get them back. If you follow me on twitter, you are well aware of that fact. (-: Mark and I took pictures back when we were engaged and before he lost weight, and we haven't had pictures taken since Karlie became part of our family a year and a half ago! It was high time we got some new photos around the house.

So, without further adieu, here are a few of our favorites:

Just so you know, October 30th of 2010 is the day Karlie moved into our home. She very quickly changed from "the teenager that lives with us" to a forever member of our family.

My friend Jane had her engagement pictures done in a vintage picnic theme, and so she was my inspiration. (-:

I kind of have a Crush on him... (-:

We had so much fun taking our pictures, and I love how Kelly captured such cool moments.

Karlie insisted on doing a "daddy daughter picture" so she could have one for her wedding one day, and just because she wanted one. They turned out so sweet.

I got a couple pictures with Karlie myself, which I LOVE:

Pre-Wedding Moments

***We are experimenting with blog titles, so hopefully it won't throw you off until we pick the perfect title***

I decided it was time for some more wedding pictures. I know last time I put up pictures of the decor, and this time I decided to put up some photos of some of my favorite moments from the day. These are mostly before the ceremony started, and I think my photographer really captured some sweet memories.

This first photo is my friend, Allison, who flew in from Denver to be there for my special day. It really meant a lot that she came and I think this pic of us hugging is just precious.

This next photo is of me, mainly talking to my Aunt Reba, my dad's sister. I was obviously really into whatever I was saying, and she just looks beautiful!

The most wonderful surprise of the wedding was when our dear family friend, John G, flew in from California and surprised us! He had sent us a gift (GORGEOUS Kate Spade vases) and we figured he couldn't make it. He sure surprised us....

He had me in tears!

This cracks me up so I had to include it. This is me talking to Wes, who performed our ceremony, right before it started. Apparently whatever i was saying was pretty intense.

This is my Uncle Dan. He is one of Mark's favorites out of my relatives. Who knows what they were saying, and what I was thinking. ha. This photo just cracks me up.

Okay, this one is actually right as the wedding started, so I'll close with this one. More photos to come later.... we sang two congregational hymns, and here we are, singing the first, right at the start of the wedding.

Bed and Breakfast Photos and Update

Well, folks, life is ALMOST back to normal. And let me tell ya, it couldn't get back to normal fast enough. These way too packed weeks are way too much for me to handle. Don't get me wrong, I love having a good time and spending time with friends, but sometimes I just need some time to CHILL.

The wedding went absolutely perfectly. It was so meaningful to have almost everyone that is close to me there. We would have loved to have been able to have more people, but it was so nice seeing all of my family. 

We stayed at the CUTEST Bed and Breakfast. I'm trying to get some pictures of it, but not all of them are large enough to show. Here is PART of the front of the Bed and Breakfast:

Here is a TINY pic of our bedroom. I loved the picture above the bed. It had a dog laying on a bed and the title was "master bedroom". It was so precious.

The photos don't really do it justice. Everything was so beautiful and the breakfast was just wonderful! We had a very fun, relaxing time and definitely plan on going back as soon as we can! (-:

Now that my wedding is over - my brother's wedding is in SIX DAYS!!! Crazy! I'm playing/singing in it so I need to practice.
